What is a Social Enterprise?
A social enterprise is a not-for-profit organisation that is driven by its' social mission.
Our success is measured by the amount of positive impact made on the communities we work in.
With no financial commitments to shareholders, any surplus or profit is reinvested back into our services for the benefit of the community to maximize improvements to health and wellbeing.
Our journey began in 2013 when we were founded as a social enterprise with a mission to 'Improve Quality of for Local Communities'. Before this we were known as the Tower Hamlets Primary Care Psychology and Counselling Service and we have a long history of over 30 years, delivering a range of Psychological Therapies across primary care including the 'Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme' (IAPT).
Since becomming a social enterprise, we have gone from strength to strength and are now also for providing School Health and Family Nurse Partnership Services.
We currently employ 130 staff, many of whom are from the local community, delivering NHS and Public Health services in Tower Hamlets.
