Getting a referral to our services

We provide help with emotional and psychological difficulties, such as anxiety, stress and depression for the local community. You will need to be at least 18 years old and registered with a GP in Tower Hamlets for us to be able to help you.

If you would like to be referred to our talking therapies services, this can be done in one of the following ways:

GP referral

Visit your GP and explain the difficulties you are experiencing. If our services are most appropriate for your needs, your GP will be able to refer you directly to us. This is usually the best method of referral, as your GP can share information to help us understand your background and your current difficulties

Professional referral

If you work in the Tower Hamlets statutory or voluntary sectors you can make a referral to our service for anybody who is over 18 years old and residing in the borough

Self-referral

You can refer yourself on this website by pressing the 'Refer yourself' button, following the link and filling out a secure referral form

Referral guidance

We will always be happy to liaise with GPs and other referrers if they want advice and support about a patient they are concerned about. This might be providing expert advice on referral options or help with understanding more about what the problem is in order to develop a management plan. This is standard practice within NHS and health care services.

If you think that we might be able to help and you meet our referral criteria, seek a referral to our services in one of the ways listed above.
