Millie Banerjee, Board Chair

We are delighted to announce our new board chair. Millie has had a long and varied career in both the private and public sectors. She has extensive experience in corporate governance, having held a number of appointments as Chair and Non-executive director in the private and public sectors, including 5 years on the Board of East London Foundation Trust. Millie was awarded a CBE in 2002. Millie is currently the Chair of NHS Blood and Transplant Service and the College of Policing.

 

 


 

Mohit Venkataram, Chief Executive Officer

Dr Venkataram has extensive operational management experience in acute trusts, community trust, and social care and mental health organisations. He was the former Deputy Managing Director for Newham health and social care services across Newham Primary Care Trust and the London Borough of Newham. He has also worked as a practicing clinician in the private and statutory health sector abroad. His qualifications include MBBS, MBA and a PGDMLS. 

 


Azom Mortuza, Director of Strategy 
Azom comes from a background in community engagement, commissioning and setting up community services. He has gained a wealth of experience from working across the Third Sector, Local Authority and PCT over many years. He has a special interest in exploring different models of healthcare delivery and leadership whilst committed to ensuring the organisation makes a tangible difference in the local community. He is currently a Health Foundation Fellow on the Generation Q Leadership Programme.
