Our Conferences

At Compass Wellbeing, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and solidarity, which empowers individuals and organisations to excel in their missions.

With these objectives, in 2023 we kick started a series of in-person conferences to create a forum for networking and collaboration amongst VCSEs. The first one was held at the Old Town Hall in Stratford, London, and saw hundreds of people coming together to learn and discuss topics like population health, bid applications and recruitment.

Summer Conference 2023 Highlights

Nearly 300 people from across 13 London boroughs registered to take part in the ‘Enhancing Delivery Leaders for Tomorrow’ conference held at Old Town Hall, Stratford on July 4. The event provided a networking opportunity for statutory, voluntary and community sector leaders across north and east London – with opportunities to meet in the same space, progress the joint working agenda and build and develop alliances.

The interactive forum also included breakout sessions and a bustling ‘marketplace’ where 14 organisations showcased their work. Speakers included ELFT Chief Executive Paul Calaminus and Marie Gabriel CBE, Chair of the North East London Health and Care Partnership (NEL HCP). Themes included building resilience and building VCSO alliances to meet population needs.
